Job Description:
The Mako Group is seeking Cybersecurity Consultants, Risk & Security Advisors, IT Audit Professionals and Control Testers of varying degrees of seniority for our clients that provide services in the Automotive, Financial, Health Care, large private, publicly traded and compliance driven industries! The compensation range for this position is negotiable.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Participate in all aspects of Cybersecurity reviews, IT audits, Risk Assessments, Control analysis and IT strategy, and policy/procedure/program development including planning, testing, reporting, and making/writing recommendations.

  • Work with IT, business process owners and various key leadership to provide consultation, identify and assess risks and/or test controls.

  • Utilize experience with risk assessment, control analysis, and audit methodology to communicate with management on these topics and develop an effective approach.

  • Stay abreast of the current Cybersecurity and IT environment and industry trends relevant to the company's IT activities.

  • Use technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services.

  • Conduct audits and reviews in accordance with professional standards and within professional guidelines.


Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in IT, Accounting, Finance or other related degree.

  • Understanding of control methodologies, design and frameworks

  • Public accounting/consulting or control testing experience is a plus

  • Experience with databases, Windows Active Directory, and Audit Management/GRC Software is a plus

  • Ability to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to travel (< 40%), including international (< 20%)
