Cyber Risk Advisor
Please allow us to introduce you to yet another outstanding team member, Peter Clarke, who has been an integral part of The Mako Group since 2013. In his current role as Cyber Risk Advisor, Peter is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with organizations in all industries facing the business challenges existing in today’s ever-changing world of cybersecurity, audit and risk. Coming from a diverse technology background and over 16 years of B2B relationship development helps Peter to use his past experiences to relate to each client’s unique situation. His position allows him the opportunity to focus on assisting clients with establishing a level of controls and cybersecurity confidence they can feel proud of, something that he is passionate about.
Peter earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice and an Associates degree in sociology, both from Indiana University. In addition to his education, Peter has completed a great deal of advanced training which includes, but is not limited to, the LEAD Leadership Development Program, SPIN Sales Training, as well as The Complex Sales training.
Peter has lived in Vermont and Michigan, but was born and raised in the Indianapolis area, and currently calls it home. He loves being active outdoors whether it’s running, golfing, or fishing and also plays in a men’s hockey league.

Audit and Risk Manager
Meredith Yonker has been a part of The Mako Group for over five years. She currently holds the position of Audit and Risk Manager. Her resume includes over 15 years of information security, IT compliance, controls monitoring, and operational auditing experience.
Throughout her career, Meredith has performed a wide variety of internal audits across a diverse range of industries, including manufacturing, government, healthcare, and financial services. Her experience is extremely well-rounded, having taken part in SOX Controls Testing, FFIEC, GLBA and PCI DSS Compliance, Control Framework Mapping, including NIST SP 800-53, CSA CCM and COBIT, Archer GRC Implementation and Integration, Enterprise Risk Assessment, Information Security Program Development, and Internal Audit initiatives.
Meredith obtained her formal education from Truman State University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She holds an array of certifications, which include Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), and CSA Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK). Meredith is also an active member of the Indianapolis Chapter of The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), where she previously served as President. Meredith is also a member of ISACA.
Meredith is married with two toddlers: a son in preschool and a black lab mix. Besides performing music, she likes to watch scary movies and crime documentaries, enjoys scuba diving adventures with her husband, and can’t wait to share her love of snow skiing with her son.

Cyber Risk Advisor
Charlie Harris holds the position of Cyber Risk Advisor for The Mako Group. In this role he is responsible for developing client relationships within the Michigan market. His background in effectively helping navigate business risks and opportunities from strategic, reputation, and financial risks to operations, cyber, and regulatory risks is a major asset as he is able to assist our clients with the multiple cybersecurity challenges they face in today’s business environment.
Charlie’s most recent experience comes from his time at Entrega Systems Group, Inc., where he served as Client Services Manager. While there he maintained industry knowledge of trends in the IT space, oversaw team performance, created proposals and worked heavily with web application design and development in order to continuously develop and nurture strong customer focused relationships for the company’s existing and future clients.
Following his 11 year service in the United States Air Force where he served as an Aerospace Propulsion Mechanic, Charlie received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
Charlie has one son in Kindergarten, loves to play golf, is interested in WWII History, Aircrafts and Ships, and has a passion for music which includes playing the drums.
