The Mako Group Adds Five to Staff

The Mako Group has announced the addition of five uniquely skilled team members. They include; Amber Coleman, Senior IT Auditor; Nate Enos, Penetration Tester; Kaitlyn Johnson, Senior IT Auditor; Joshua Marzic, Cyber Risk Advisor; and Jonathan Schillinger, Cyber Risk Advisor. These new hires are a result of continued growth for the firm in addition to The Mako Group’s commitment to continuing to provide clients with the highest quality audits, tests and assessments.

These five individuals are an example of how we’ve continued to stick to that belief and we’re proud to have them joining our team.”

Coleman joins the company from Parkview Health where she has spent the past 12 years of her career. She is an experienced auditor who is a certified healthcare internal audit professional and certified in healthcare compliance with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital and health care industry. Her expertise is focused on Internal Audit, Internal Controls, Risk Management, Regulatory Requirements and Healthcare Compliance.

Enos brings a unique background to The Mako Group. From serving time in the military, to earning a degree in Biotechnology from Indiana University followed by a career as a scientist where he worked with viral vectors, microbes and DNA sequencing. Through all of his experience everything always led him to his interest in hacking. His profession as a scientist, specifically in research, has given him the skill set to successfully conduct research in cyber-security.

Johnson most recently served Protiviti as a Senior IT Auditor. She brings multiple years of IT controls testing and risk experience to The Mako Group. Johnson graduated from Maryville University, Saint Louis with a double major in Accounting and Accounting Systems & Forensics.

Marzic is a highly motivated leader with IT experience at both the local and internal levels. He has proven his dedication and commitment to the cybersecurity industry early on in his career. While earning a degree in Information Technology he also served as president of the Cybersecurity Club at Central Michigan University, and spent time volunteering at cyber events such as GrrCon.

With a degree in Informatics from Indiana University, Bloomington, Schillinger has developed a passion for helping businesses better protect themselves from all threats known and unknown to the cyber world. Early on in his career he has earned the Security+ and Network+ certifications. He is dedicated to continuing his education in an effort to stay on the leading edge of the industry.
